This Inventory Policy explains how PennyLane manages product availability, stock levels, and backorders in our online store.
1. Product availability

We do our best to keep inventory information accurate and up to date, but occasionally items may sell out before the system updates.

If an item is out of stock, it may show as “Sold out” or be temporarily unavailable for purchase until it is restocked.
2. Stock updates and restocking

Our inventory is updated regularly as new stock arrives and orders are processed.

Popular items may sell out quickly; in those cases, we restock as soon as possible, depending on supplier availability.

If an item you want is out of stock, we recommend checking back regularly or contacting us to ask about estimated restock dates.
3. Backorders and preorders
Unless specifically indicated on the product page, we do not accept backorders or preorders:

If a product is sold out, you will not be able to complete a purchase for that item until it becomes available again.

If we offer preorders or backorders for certain products in the future, this will be clearly stated on the product page, along with expected shipping timeframes.
4. Overselling and order issues
In rare cases, an item may appear in stock during checkout but actually be unavailable due to timing or technical issues.
If this happens:

Receive a full refund for the unavailable item

5. Inventory holds and unpaid orders

Adding items to your cart does not reserve or guarantee stock; inventory is only confirmed once the order is successfully placed and payment is completed.

If payment is declined or not completed, products remain available for other customers to purchase.
6. Damaged, lost, or missing items in inventory
We maintain our inventory with regular checks and quality control:

Products that are damaged or do not meet our quality standards are removed from sellable inventory.

If we discover an issue with an item after you place an order (for example, the last unit is damaged or missing), we will contact you to offer a replacement, a suitable alternative, or a full refund for that item.
7. Pricing and inventory errors
Occasionally, there may be errors in product information, including price, stock status, or descriptions.

We reserve the right to correct any errors or inaccuracies and to cancel orders affected by such errors.

If your order is impacted, we will notify you and issue a refund where payment has already been taken.
